Heated deletion / Anticlimax

The flickering flame
inside of me
the exulting heart
pounding within

The tingly sensation
simmering with excitement
The sparking of a bushfire
from scalp to toe

The nagging puzzle
of the chagrin in your eyes
the dispiriting blow
of your frightened looks

As I am battering down
the bedroom of ours
As I am pounding to pieces
those picture frames

Shattering the doing well
all the warmth with heat
making sighs and moans unheard
between the sill and the step.
